Conditions of Booking
Pitches, where possible, should be pre-booked.
At busy times, please make sure you have your booking reference available on arrival. Pitches will only be reserved once a 25% deposit has been paid and confirmation given.
We reserve the right to decline bookings from groups of over eight persons, whether these are made as one single or multiple separate bookings. Please contact us before booking if you plan to come as a large group as this can then be arranged.
Refunds are not given. Please take out the necessary cancellation insurance, if in the event of redundancy, accident, bereavement, serious family illness or hospitalisation. This is the responsibility of the person making the booking.
In the event of non arrival on the confirmed date we reserve the right to re let the pitch the following day.
Any changes to your booking may incur a £10.00 administration fee.
Pitches are available from 12 noon on the day of arrival and should be clear and left tidy by 11.00 am on the day of departure. Please let us know the day before if you intend to arrive after 10.00pm.
Please report to the warden upon arrival.
The speed limit on the site is 5 mph - please comply at all times.
Take special care when driving or manoeuvring on the fields, especially near other peoples tents, motorhomes etc.
One vehicle per pitch is allowed at any one time. Any additional vehicles must be parked on the overflow area which will be directed by the warden.
Vehicles are allowed on site and should not be driven around the site other than to enter and exit the site.
We reserve the right to ask the owner of any vehicle to move to tarmacked or gravelled areas if conditions require this.
Bicycles are allowed on site if ridden with due care and attention at all times. There are moving vehicles at all times and this is the sole responsibility of the person or the guardian, parent of anyone under 18 years of age and will not be the responsibility of the site owner, manager.
Please put your rubbish in the allocated bins on site. Please do not leave on pitch as this is likely to cause vermin. Your Rubbish is your responsibility and not that of the site owner or its staff
Guests of Roebeck Country Park are required to be reasonably quiet between 11.00pm and 08.00am. Please treat others guests as you would wish to be treated.
No loud music must be audible at any time.
Generators are not permitted on site.
Persons under 18 years of age are the responsibility of the guardian, parent at all times. It is not the responsibility of Roebeck Country Park or its staff to monitor the safety, behaviour and wellbeing of any person.
Please note there is ample land for children to amuse themselves, whether kicking a football or playing hide and seek in our wooded areas.
As per UK Law, smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings on site. Do not throw lighted cigarettes into the bins.
Fires and Barbecues
Barbeques and controlled camp fires are allowed on site, but they must be kept off the ground and burned in a safe and controlled manner at all times. They must be overseen at all times by a competent adult.
There is a well stocked fishing lake on site for the use of our guests, a small charge will be applied.
Please be aware this is fenced off and no children should be unaccompanied in this area as it is a serious drowning hazard.
All fish caught must be thrown back immediately.
At the discretion of the site owners or its staff, guests may bring their visitors to site between 10am and 18.00 but they must obtain permission from the site warden.
Dogs and Pets
Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement only, a small charge is made at the time of booking and your dog must be listed on your booking confirmation. No banned breeds are acceptable and you will be asked to leave the site immediately if this occurs.
Dogs are the responsibility of their owner at all times and should be kept on a lead. Fouling will not be accepted and you will be asked to clean up after your dog. Dogs must not be unattended on site or become a nuisance to others.
Roebeck Country Park or its staff shall not be held responsible for non-performance of any of its obligations FORCE MAJEURE under a booking agreement in the event of conditions beyond their control, i.e. flooding, vandalism, industrial disputes, fire, riots, adverse weather, civil dispute, epidemics, health risks or such similar events.
Roebeck Country Park will not be held responsible to any guest or visitor for any loss, damage to property or personal injury caused by third parties.
All bookings are accepted in good faith and at the site operators discretion and we reserve the right to refuse or terminate the stay of any person or persons creating a nuisance to others or breaking any of these terms and conditions.
Anyone involved in any activity that is likely to cause damage to another person’s property or injury or loss to people or animals will be removed from the site immediately.
Roebeck Country Park and its staff has a zero tolerance policy to any acts, including verbal assault to both its staff and, or any member of the public.
